These buttercrunch lettuce seedlings started out as part of the 24-hour light experiment. They don’t look too bad, but with the failure of spinach and cilantro under 24-hour light, I decided to move them to the base of the Tower Garden where the lights are turned off at night. One plant is now in the Tower Garden. The other 3 I’ve left in rock wool. | |||

![]() I’m going to let this one go a little longer in the Tower to see if it stays bug free. |
![]() Bugs have attacked, so I tossed the seedlings. |

I harvested the buttercrunch. It looks great, but I probably left it go a little too long. It tasted more bitter than I’d like.
Steve, plants need to rest just like us humans do. I recommend no more than 16 hours of light. Happy Growing! -JoeD #TowerGarden #Level2Concepts
